I don't know about any of you, but I am so sick of he said she said shit on the zone.
That's just me

Unfortunately, it happens in real life too.

I don't really care about it, because I know what I said, so if people say I said something I didn't say, then I know I didn't say it and that's good enough for me. Of course people may believe the lies over the truth, but if they make judgements based on things which aren't proved beyond reasonable doubt to be true, it's probably best not to develop a strong friendship with them. At least when these things happen online, with people who you've never met, it's not as significant because they can't really have any significant impact on your life.

I really try to stay out of that foolishness. I detest it, and don't have time to get involved with it both here and in life outside The Zone.

agree with posters three and four. I don't really get involved with all that shit.

Post 6 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Tuesday, 13-Nov-2007 14:48:15

Yes it's all over and there's no point in getting in the middle of that stuff.

Post 7 by Albanac (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 13-Nov-2007 16:08:02

Wouldn't anyone sensible think like that? So yeah. Agreed here too.

Post 8 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Tuesday, 13-Nov-2007 23:20:10

The funny thing is that most of it is recorded somewhere in qn history, on the boards, etc. So, if anyone really cared who said what to who (is it whom?) all they have to do is look it up.

This kind of shit happens all over, it's not just on here. It's pretty damn childish and stupid if ya ask me. But that's how I felt high school.

Post 10 by Senior (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Wednesday, 14-Nov-2007 11:24:16

Bob, they can't look up private quicknotes between people, and if people want to talk about somebody without more than one person knowing on the Zone, they will probably use private quicknotes.

Post 11 by Cousin Cap (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 14-Nov-2007 14:29:16

Senior, unfortunately, the gossip mill is such that private quicknotes are often shared, eithe r in their original form or in a condensed version written or spoken, among many people.
Bob, it is whom. *grin*.

It's what happens when you get a large amount of blind users on a site who have no lives and nothing better to do with their time. How about looking for a job to achieve some sense of fulfillment? But I suppose with such drama gossipy attitudes that wouldn't last long either.

Post 13 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Thursday, 15-Nov-2007 13:54:45

drama isn't just for the blind.

Post 14 by Senior (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Thursday, 15-Nov-2007 14:03:35

I would like to agree with the argument put forward in post 12, but it is simply incorrect. In workplaces up and down the land, there are people who gossip about other people, there are two-faced people, there is backstabbing, there is tension, there is drama.

indeed.
That is life.
